I’m a fiercely patriotic American. I served nearly 24 years until I was retired in December 2005. Nowadays, I continue to serve as a member of The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in Willmar.
Following my military service, I worked in Silicon Valley managing the North American distribution network for a Japanese semiconductor company. Then took an exciting position managing the support processes at large flight kitchen an international airline catering company at San Francisco International Airport. During this time, I was also a high demand club and electronic dance music (EDM) DJ playing in venues large and small on the west coast. In November 2009, I started performing on internet radio stations. This lead to my interest in broadcasting and radio. After moving to Fargo in 2011, I started at KNDS 96.3. When I moved to Willmar, I applied at both Q102 and K95…and K95 won. I love our stations, our formats, and more importantly, you, our loyal listeners.
We have a fantastic life here in Minnesota and in the Midwest. I’ve lived all over the world and the USA, but nothing surpasses our life here – not even California. I suppose that’s why so many people come back. It’s sometimes hard to appreciate what you have until you don’t have it anymore. I don’t want to live anywhere else. I love my dogs, a beagle and a puggle. Both are rescues who really rescued my heart after my beloved 15 year old Scottish terrier, Lucy passed away on August 24th, 2014. I enjoy the companionship of these little critters with my spouse of 29 years. We helped raise four foster sons, the youngest of which is now a senior at San Jose State University in California. We are active members at Lutheran in Willmar. I’ve lived war and now all I want is peace in our little corner of God’s country.
