59 year old Steven Rice of Sacred Heart was charged in Renville County District Court last Friday with 4 felonies and a gross misdemeanor count of criminal sexual conduct. Rice allegedly sexually assaulted a 15 year old girl last May. Rice left the state, was arrested in Iowa last month and was returned to Minnesota a few days ago.
A food truck ordinance in Willmar will be discussed this afternoon as the city council holds a work session. Also on the agenda, talk about the councils meeting structure and the economic development commission budget. Meeting time is 3 pm at the Health and Human services building.
Talk about the Willmar schools operating levy on the November election ballot will be a part of the Willmar School board meeting today at 4:30 in the Willmar Education and Arts building. Public comment will also take place at the beginning and end of the meeting.

A two vehicle crash sent 21 year old Traci Polzine of Marietta to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries last Friday afternoon. She rear ended a vehicle driven by 27 year old Zach Stoffel of Dawson, who was at the intersection of highways 75 and 212 west of Dawson. Polzine was taken to the Madison hospital.
