According to the DNR, duck hunting is expected to be good when Minnesota’s regular waterfowl season opens a half hour before sunrise this Saturday morning. The number of ducks has remained fairly high in recent years. And waterfowl specialist Steve Cordts says Canada goose hunting should improve as the season goes on. In the central zone, duck hunting will run from this Saturday through September 30th, the closes. It will re-open Saturday October 6th and run through November 25. Goose season re-opens this Saturday and stays open in the central zone until November 25th. For daily bag limits and more info, log on to the DNR website.
