The next time you head out fishing, you might be one of many who dream of a state record fish. A couple of records were set in recent month, including a 13 pound, 9 ounce whitefish caught by Billy King of Oklahoma ice fishing on Lake of the Woods April 6th . King earlier had caught his personal best Walleye from the same spot. And Ethan Rasset, a record holder for a golden redhorse already, outdid himself with a 4 pound, 13 ounce golden redhorse, caught on the Otter Tail River back in March. Rasset’s old record was 4 pounds, 8 ounces. Good luck the next time you’re out fishing!
