Fire Weather Watch today in central & southwest
Gusty winds and low humidity mean critical fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon in central and southwest Minnesota. The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which means critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur.
Counties in the Fire Weather Watch include:
Benton, Blue Earth, Brown, Carver, Chippewa, Cottonwood, Douglas, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, Martin, McLeod, Meeker, Murray, Nicollet, Nobles, Pipestone, Pope, Redwood, Renville, Rock, Sherburne, Sibley, Stearns, Stevens, Swift, Todd, Watonwan, Wright, and Yellow Medicine.
The Fire Weather Watch is in effect until 7 p.m.
