NEW! No-Contact Curbside Pickup Update:

While the Willmar Public Library remains closed until further notice, we
have plans to return to full regular hours for no-contact curbside hold
pickup as soon as possible. Check our website, social media, or call
320-235-3162 for current hours.

Step 1: Place a hold.
Request items for pickup by using the online catalog at or by calling 320-235-3162.
Step 2: Wait for a call or email notifying you your items are ready.
Starting June 1st, patrons who are set up for email notifications will
receive an email. If your notification preference is phone, library
staff will call you when your requested items are ready.
Step 3: Pickup items.
Park in the designated area outside the library entrance and call to let
us know you arrived. Curbside pickup is available ___ Have your library
card number ready. Remain in your vehicle as library staff places your
bag outside. After they have returned inside, grab your bag and go.

Adult Summer Reading
June 1 – August 31
This year the Adult Summer Reading Program has gone digital! Every 5
books read and every program you participate in gets you an entry
towards a weekly prize drawing. Enter via the Google form
( beginning June 1st. At the end of
the summer, all non-winning entries will be added into a drawing for the
grand prize. The more you read, the more chances you have at winning!
Prizes sponsored by the Willmar Friends of the Library.

Pets Read! Photo Contest for All Ages
Grab your camera and get your pet ready! Through June 20, submit a photo
of your pet(s) reading a book, magazine, ebook, etc. Prizes sponsored by
the Willmar Friends of the Library will be awarded in each age category,
and winners will be announced on July 1.  Complete rules and entry form
can be found at

Online Book Club
Join in every third Wednesday at noon for a book discussion. You will
need Zoom on your computer, tablet, phone, etc. Fill out the form at to receive login info and
discussion questions.

Trivia Night
Join our Facebook Group and play live trivia every Thursday evening at 7
PM. Play solo or assemble a team. Ages 18+

Take & Make Crafts
Various Take & Make Crafts will be posted at as they are available. Use
the form on the website to reserve your supplies to make your very own
featured project. Everything you will need, including instructions, will
be put in a bag for you to pick up using our no-contact curbside
delivery. Once you have registered, library staff will call or email you
when it is ready to be picked up. Ages 18+

Books not your thing? Remember, you can use curbside pickup for any
items available in our catalog (
including: board games, yard games, fitness kits, DVDs, magazines, music
