Relay for Life will be holding a free movie screening on Saturday night at the Millennium Theater in Montevideo. Theater owner Eric Winter described what’s taking place.
“The American Cancer Society of Yellow Medicine and Chippewa County American Cancer Society Relay for Life Committee contacted us,” explained Winter. “So, we’re going to be showing ‘The Blind Side’ rated PG-13, free Drive-In movie August 1st, starting about 9:30. And it’s going to be hopefully a great turnout and I’m thinking the parking lot is gonna look pretty cool, too, with all those luminarias.”
Concessions will be available for purchase inside the theater. Luminarias will be for sale that night, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
