Best Way To Make Tater Tot Hot Dish?

This weekend I attempted this Minnesota staple. Did I make it the right way? How do you make it? Here’s what I did

Ground beef – 1 lbs.

Can of cream of mushroom soup

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

And then the tots on top
